Leonardo Piccinini, born in Modena in 1979, is an art historian based in Milan. After his studies at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Leonardo has developed a strong interest in the history of collecting and in the art market writing for magazines and collaborating with prestigious antique dealers. Mr. Piccinini is a crucial figure in the Associazione Amici di Brera, an important organization for the preservation and the spread of Pinacoteca di Brera, one of Europe's most important museum complexes. He took part in the drafting of Passepartout, Il Capitale, and Emporio Daverio, the famous RAI broadcasts by Philippe Daverio. Piccinini supports the Save Italy campaign against Italy's inability to exploit its rich cultural heritage. He knows Venice very well and is a major expert of all the best and unknown parts of the Serenissima.
